Troy focuses his practice on criminal law and family law matters, serving both our Arlington and Manassas offices.
Troy is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated cum laude from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Politics, and Society. Troy then attended American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. At WCL, Troy was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and practiced as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Defense Clinic.
Prior to joining the Irving Law Firm, Troy served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert A. Salerno at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

I got charged with a possession charge and couldn’t afford a lawyer at the time, so the court appointed Fernando to my case. Whenever you choose to get a court appointed lawyer you’re always taking a risk. Because you’re one of who knows how many clients the court has given him with the same problems.
