David Rouzzo
With nearly 25 years in legal practice, David brings a wealth of experience to The Irving Law Firm. He spent two decades practicing law in Ohio before relocating to Virginia in 2021, where he served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Fredericksburg Public Defender. In this role, David defended clients facing felony charges in Stafford County, Spotsylvania County, and Fredericksburg. As lead or co-counsel, he has tried over 25 felony jury trials, including seven murder trials and two death penalty cases.
David’s deep courtroom experience has honed his ability to handle high-stress, high-conflict cases with skill and confidence. His strong advocacy before judges and knowledge of the rules of evidence make him a formidable legal professional. Now at The Irving Law Firm, he applies these skills to Family Law, Criminal Defense, Business Law, and Personal Injury cases, ensuring clients receive strategic and effective representation.
Beyond his legal work, David enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs. A passionate musician, he also performs as the lead singer of a rock cover band at local venues. His dedication to his profession and personal interests makes him a valuable asset to the firm and the community.

I got charged with a possession charge and couldn’t afford a lawyer at the time, so the court appointed Fernando to my case. Whenever you choose to get a court appointed lawyer you’re always taking a risk. Because you’re one of who knows how many clients the court has given him with the same problems.
