Mark represents clients in a wide variety of cases including civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord tenant, and business law matters. He is very active in the Prince William County legal community. Mark currently serves as the President of the Prince William County Bar Association (PWCBA). He has previously served as a Director of the PWCBA and as co-chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section and the Mentorship and Mentoring Committee for the PWCBA. Because of his volunteer work, Mark was recognized as the PWCBA’s Pro Bono Attorney of the year in 2020.
Prior to joining the Irving Law Firm, Mark served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tracy C. Hudson during his two-year term as Chief Judge of the Prince William County Circuit Court. Mark graduated cum laude from the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. During his time at Richmond Law, Mark was an active member of the moot court team and regularly volunteered at the school’s family law clinic which provided pro bono services to indigent clients in Richmond. Because of his work at the family law clinic, Mark received the Virginia State Bar Family Law Book Award by the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at his graduation ceremony. This award is given to the top graduating student from each of the eight Virginia law schools who has demonstrated the most promise and potential for the practice of family law.

I got charged with a possession charge and couldn’t afford a lawyer at the time, so the court appointed Fernando to my case.
